Breastfeeding Support Group

Breastfeeding Support is a critical provision for mothers and is often not widely and/or easily available.

In 2017 Seetal Dholakia developed a keen interest to support breastfeeding mothers after her own experiences. As a new mother who eventually overcame feeding struggles with support from a Lactation Consultation, she launched a Breastfeeding Support Group for local mothers in London.

The in-person meets up and private WhatsApp group has helped several mothers who have had feeding challenges and needed support

The group is a kind and encouraging network of supportive mothers who share their experiences, many of which have encountered and overcame similar challenges and scenarios.

Alongside her career as an Early Years Educator and Pediatric Optometrist, Seetal is training as IBCLC Lactation Consultation.
